How Shopping and Donating at ThriftWise Helps Survivors
Every purchase and every donation supports survivors in a direct, practical way. Your donated clothing, furniture, and household goods help families who have left abuse start fresh in a safe, violence-free home.
The rest of the donated items fill our shelves with quality goods at fair prices for the community. When those items sell, the money goes straight back into funding our free, confidential services for survivors. It is a simple loop where your generosity does double duty, right here in Fort Bend County.

As a nonprofit thrift store in Texas, ThriftWise welcomes you at two convenient locations in the Greater Houston area.
Our Richmond store is at 501 Highway 90A East, Richmond, TX 77406. Our Stafford store is at 13645 Murphy Road, Stafford, TX 77477. Both are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

When you donate to ThriftWise, you directly support our work in three ways:
- Providing families with clothing, furniture and household goods to help them start new, violence-free lives.
- You help us provide a quality, reasonably priced product to our community.
- When we sell the rest of these donated goods in our stores, that money is directed back into funding our life-saving programs.
What happens when someone donates something unusable or damaged beyond repair?
RECYCLING, that’s what happens! Clothing that we are unable to use are recycled with the proceeds then directed back into funding our life-saving programs.
