We simply could not do everything that we do to help survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault without our volunteers. From staffing our Crisis Hotline to sorting through donations at our PennyWise stores, we offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities and have a constant need for help and support. We welcome individuals and groups of volunteers who want to support our mission!

Fort Bend Women’s Center volunteers work throughout the organization. Some of our volunteer positions do require specialized training, but most opportunities are designed to make use of our volunteers’ existing skills and talents.

Volunteer With FBWC

Our volunteer activities include working in our Shelter and alongside our clients through our Programs. We also need people to fill a variety of roles in our PennyWise stores. We need volunteers to assist with special events and with office administration work. Some of our volunteer roles qualify for School Service Hours.

Spring internships are now full. Please check back for future opportunties.

If you would like to know more about volunteering at Fort Bend Women’s Center, you can download a list of our current volunteer opportunities. Some volunteer positions require training.  Our training program is certified by the Office of the Attorney General.  Volunteers that complete the training are certified state-wide as Sexual Assault Advocates.  The training is held in January, May and September.

If you would like to become one of our volunteers, please complete our Volunteer Application Form.
