FBWC Offers Free Summer Camps!

IMG_2382The Fort Bend Women’s Center and its Violence Prevention Team are thrilled to pilot two free summer camps for middle, junior and high school students. The camps will utilize the Expect Respect SafeTeens Leadership Program, an interactive training in interpersonal violence prevention and peer leadership for youth, ages 12 to 18. The camps will include a 1/2 day of violence prevention education and 1/2 day of volunteer service in our Richmond PennyWise Resale Center.  Space will be very limited so participants must turn in an application along with a one-page essay explaining why s/he would like to participate in the Impact, Empower & Engage Summer Camp.  If you have questions, please contact Amber Paaso at apaaso@fortbendwomenscenter.org.
